FUNDING

Approximately half of ChildLaw Service’s funding comes from fee-for-services from the WV Supreme Court and the West Virginia Public Defender’s Service.

Supplemental funding comes from grants from the United Way of the Virginias, the American Bar Association, the WV State Bar (IOLTA), and VOCA (Victims of Crime Act).

As the need for services multiply, donations from individuals, corporations, and civic groups become increasingly critical.

Funds are especially needed to pay for legal advocacy services and therapeutic services for child victims of crime.

A tax deductible contribution can be made to ChildLaw Services, Inc.
